Otterly.AI vs Peec AI: which tracker fits you? (2026)

By Bhuwan Aryal, founder of TrendlyAIPublished 9 min read

Last updated: October 2026

Pick Otterly.AI if you want the cheapest way into daily AI visibility tracking with a fixed set of four engines, including Perplexity and Copilot. Pick Peec AI if you need more prompts per plan and want to choose your own three engines, such as Gemini or Google AI Mode. Both track daily and include unlimited users.

Otterly.AI and Peec AI are two of the most common names on AI visibility shortlists. They do the same core job: run your prompts through AI engines every day and report whether your brand is mentioned, which competitors show up, and which sources get cited. The differences are in pricing shape, engine choice and reporting, and those differences decide which one fits you.

How much do Otterly.AI and Peec AI cost?๐Ÿ”—

Otterly.AI is cheaper to start, and Peec AI gives you more prompts on its entry plan. As of October 2026, Otterly.AI's plans are Lite at $29/mo (15 prompts), Standard at $189/mo (100 prompts) and Premium at $489/mo (400 prompts), with a custom Enterprise plan from 1,000 prompts. Paying yearly takes about 15% off, so Lite drops to $25/mo and Standard to $160/mo. On Standard and Premium you can add 100 more prompts for $99.

Peec AI's plans are Starter at $95/mo (50 prompts), Pro at $245/mo (150 prompts) and Advanced at $495/mo (350 prompts), plus a custom Enterprise plan. Peec's pricing FAQ says annual billing comes with a 15% discount.

Price per prompt tells a more useful story than the headline number:

PlanMonthly pricePromptsCost per prompt
Otterly.AI Lite$2915about $1.93
Otterly.AI Standard$189100$1.89
Otterly.AI Premium$489400about $1.22
Peec AI Starter$9550$1.90
Peec AI Pro$245150about $1.63
Peec AI Advanced$495350about $1.41

At the entry level, the cost per prompt is almost identical. The real difference is the jump between tiers. Otterly.AI goes from $29 to $189 with nothing in between, so a team that needs 40 prompts pays for 100. Peec AI's steps are smaller, and its $95 Starter plan sits in the gap Otterly.AI leaves open.

Engine add-ons change the math too. Each Otterly.AI add-on is priced by plan: on Lite, Gemini and AI Mode are $9/mo each and Claude is $29/mo. On Standard those become $59, $59 and $109. On Premium they are $149, $149 and $439. Peec AI says you can add extra models from the dashboard, but the add-on prices did not show on its pricing page when we checked.

Which AI engines do Otterly.AI and Peec AI track?๐Ÿ”—

Otterly.AI tracks a fixed set of four engines on every plan: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini are paid add-ons. You do not choose which four you get, but the four are the same on Lite and on Premium.

Peec AI works the other way. On Starter, Pro and Advanced you pick 3 active models from a list of six: ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Perplexity is listed as an additional model you can add, and its Enterprise tier lists models such as Claude Sonnet 4, GPT 5 Search, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Meta, with the Enterprise card saying "up to 13 LLM models tracked."

What this means in practice:

How do the reports and integrations compare?๐Ÿ”—

Both tools report mentions, competitor presence, sentiment and cited sources, and both run your prompts daily. The differences are in who can see the data and where it can go.

Otterly.AI's Lite plan lists unlimited brand reports, unlimited brands and competitors, unlimited team members, 1 workspace, unlimited countries and languages, a prompt research tool, a query fan-out tool, 1,000 GEO audits a month and three recommendations a week. Standard adds unlimited workspaces, a Data Studio connector, 2,000 API requests and 2,000 MCP requests a month, and Agent Analytics. Otterly.AI also runs an agency partner program that offers branded reports through Google Looker Studio and pitch workspaces for prospects.

Peec AI's Starter plan includes 50 prompts on 3 models, unlimited users, daily tracking, 1 project, 1 country and CSV exports. Peec counts usage as "monthly AI answers," which is prompts times models times days: 4,500 on Starter, 13,500 on Pro and 31,500 on Advanced. Pro adds API access, a second project and 3 countries. Advanced raises that to 5 projects and adds Looker Studio. Peec AI also has a separate agency pricing page with bundles for teams managing several clients.

If your reporting lives in Looker Studio, Otterly.AI gets you there for $189/mo, while Peec AI needs the $495/mo Advanced plan. If you only need CSV exports, Peec AI's Starter plan is enough.

What neither tool does๐Ÿ”—

Neither Otterly.AI nor Peec AI writes the content that fixes a visibility gap. Otterly.AI goes further than Peec AI here, with GEO audits, content checks and weekly recommendations, but in both cases a person still has to write the comparison page, the FAQ or the Reddit answer. Plan for that work when you budget. Our competitor AI visibility analysis guide shows how to turn tracker data into a list of pages to write.

Who should pick Otterly.AI, and who should pick Peec AI?๐Ÿ”—

Match the tool to your situation:

Is there a third option?๐Ÿ”—

If your budget is under $29/mo, or you want help writing the fixes, there is a third option. We build TrendlyAI, so weigh that. TrendlyAI tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews on every plan, finds prompts where a competitor is recommended and you are not, and drafts fixes such as comparison pages, FAQ pages with schema, Reddit answers and llms.txt files. Plans are Solo at $19/mo (1 brand, 25 prompts), Pro at $49/mo (3 brands) and Agency at $149/mo (10 client brands), with a 7-day free trial and no card.

It has real limits next to Otterly.AI and Peec AI. TrendlyAI scans weekly with 1 sample per prompt per engine, not daily. It does not track Gemini, Grok, Copilot or Google AI Mode. It has no prompt-volume data, and it is a young product from a small team with few public reviews. If daily data or Copilot coverage is a must, pick Otterly.AI or Peec AI. We compare each one with TrendlyAI in our Otterly.AI alternative and Peec AI alternative guides.

Before you pay for any tracker, see where you stand today. The free AI visibility check runs 5 prompts on ChatGPT and Perplexity in about 30 seconds, with no signup. For more background, start from our GEO hub.

Frequently asked questions๐Ÿ”—

Is Otterly.AI cheaper than Peec AI?๐Ÿ”—

Yes, at the entry level. Otterly.AI Lite is $29/mo for 15 prompts and Peec AI Starter is $95/mo for 50 prompts, as of October 2026. Per prompt, the two entry plans cost almost the same, about $1.90. Otterly.AI has no plan between $29 and $189, so mid-sized needs can cost more there.

Does Peec AI track Perplexity?๐Ÿ”—

Perplexity is not one of the six models you can pick on Peec AI's self-serve plans. Its pricing page lists Perplexity as an additional model you can add, and it appears in the Enterprise plan's model list. Otterly.AI includes Perplexity on every plan.

Which tool tracks Claude?๐Ÿ”—

Otterly.AI sells Claude as an add-on, at $29/mo on Lite, $109/mo on Standard and $439/mo on Premium, as of October 2026. Peec AI lists Claude Sonnet 4 only on its custom Enterprise plan. TrendlyAI includes Claude on every plan.

Do Otterly.AI and Peec AI track daily?๐Ÿ”—

Yes. Both list daily tracking on all self-serve plans. Peec AI's Enterprise plan offers daily or weekly tracking. Daily data is useful for spotting sudden drops, though AI answers vary from run to run, so trends over a few weeks matter more than any single day.

Do they offer free trials?๐Ÿ”—

Both pricing pages offer a free trial, but neither states the trial length there as of October 2026. Check the signup page for current terms. Neither offers a permanent free plan.

Which is better for agencies?๐Ÿ”—

It depends on reporting. Otterly.AI gives unlimited workspaces and a Looker Studio connector from $189/mo, plus an agency partner program. Peec AI offers agency bundles with central billing and shared prompt allocation. See our list of the best AI visibility tools for agencies for more options.
